University of Idaho
I earned my Bachelors degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID. The University of Idaho is a state land grand university that serves the Pacific Northwest.
As a first-generation student, my time at the University of Idaho ignited a lifelong passion for higher education. I am committed to sharing that passion with as many students as possible. I know firsthand how meaningful it is to students, especially those from a marginalized background, when a professor takes a personal interest in their work.
During the years in which I attended the University of Idaho (1997 - 2002), I participated in a number of campus activities and organizations. I was a National Merit Scholar, active in the university's honors program and a member of a variety of honor societies. Additionally I served on the University President's IMPACT committee which sought to add classes in diversity and cultural sensitivity to the Universities Core Curriculum. I graduated with honors in 2002 with a BA in Public Communication and a minor in Women's Studies.
